Engnbldr earning business!

Been trying to figure out on various sites what was going on with my rebuilt 22RE. Basically turned over then stopped. Couldn't hand crank with 1/2 torque so I stopped and started digging. This being my first Yota, but not engine, I thought I did everything right... See what happens when you think???

I could barely move the Crank, so dropped the pan and loosened all the mains and still nothing. Long story short, after pulling trans and front diff. (needed overhaul anyway). Dropped crank from the bottom and the rear thrust washer was chewed up a bit. So, turns out I put it in backwards. Good thing I didn't actually run it. I only turned it over less than 10 revolutions.

Anyway, EPN/engnbldr did the machine work and I am lucky enough to live less than 10 miles away from him. I took it by to have him look at crank and washer. He is going to hook me up with new washers and fix the spot on the crank too.

Totally my fault, but just as expected he runs his shop like a local business should be ran and he will keep getting my repeat business as well as my referalls. All around good guy with a lot of understanding and a great ethic.

And yes I plastiguaged everything. Rods and mains were right in the middle of tolerances. He does good work. He isn't expensive, and he won't F you over. If it is wrong he'll make it right. It's worth the shipping cost if you aren't as fotunate as I am to live close by.

Thanks everyone that gave me advice so far, and especially Tod from EPN. No doubt I will send business his way with confidence every chance I get.

I agree!
I have had nothing but great work done by them. As have the people I have referred to them.

X3! Just got my engine back together using all engnbldr parts, works great and it was just about the cheapest engine kit around! All the parts were very high quality, and everything was there. They even switched out my piston rings after i ordered the wrong size, despite my having already opened them. AWESOME company, all parts from now on will come from them.

I think Tod pretty much runs the day to day operation by himself. 2nd generation builder/machinist carrying on what his dad started. For my kids sanity lets just hope he has someone to fill his shoes as well.
