Question Whats the best Carb

I got a 82 toyota with the stock 22r carb and it doesnt like hills. It has 33 12.50 on it. Im looking for something that can deal with hills, trail and road riding

If you still have stock gears and 33's it's not the carb's fault. I like the webber 32/36 carb on an offy dual plane manifold but guys say rebuilding the stock carb works good too. Gears make a WAY bigger difference than the carb.

Best carb is called a throttle body

Have you looked into flipping the carb around so it doesn't get starved on hills?

Yes they are! But they're expensive at time of purchase and every time I see a gas station! Can't keep your foot outa the throttle knowing they're under the hood.
