My 2002 tacoma has been sitting for a year and a half and i just started driving it again I changed the oil and put fresh gas in it. drove it about 6 miles and it just died and i rolled it into a gas station. Tried jump starting and nothing then replaced the battery and fuel filter and still nothing

 

What engine? Have you checked all the fuses? Grounds? Did mice chew on wires while it was parked causing a short now?

 

Don't just throw money at it and hope it magically fixes itself. Did it make any weird noises? Did it just cut out or sputter and slowly die? Why did you have to boost it? 1. Check all your major grounds. 2. Check for spark, air and fuel 3. Do you have them all at the right time?
