Can you replace just the tail light lens?

Can you replace just the tail light lens?
I thought it would be neat to back out of my garage with the garage door still down! 
Anyway - only damage was my drivers side rear tailight lens broke into about 6 pieces (I've glued it back together for now). Can I just replace the lens or do I have to buy the whole housing? (the stealer said it was all one piece - but thet doesn't seem right.)

looks like you can buy a pair of tails on ebay for about $40 bucks or so. I know the lense and housing is 2 peices but by the time you buy 2 lenses from the dealer you can prolly buy the whole thing. Check it out though.
