throotle positioning sensor sypmtoms?

1985 Toyota pickup fuel injection Automatic.

I just finished rolling new rod bearings in the old yotor and i go to fire it up it starts right up but then dies after a few seconds. i tried to keep it running with some throttle but it doesn't work. im throwing engine code 7 = throttle positioning sensor. my question is will my throttle positioning sensor cause my truck to do this...

Pull the throttle body, clean it back to front sideways to sunday! While it's off pull the TPS and check it. Bring it back to spec via 4 Crawlers method and make sure and replace the phillips screws on the TPS to allen screws to make life in the future less of a headache!

if your trying to run it with out the air tube and AFM and filter box , forget it , it will throw the code .. you need to put it completly back together
