Pismo-this Fri-sun

from Brad- (TTORA)
"Don't forget!_ Pismo this Fri-Sun!_ We are camping at the same spot as before, and I think there is a group that wants to go run the trails at Big Falls or Pozo on Sat.
_
I went to Big Falls with Chris this past Sat. and it was great!_ About 12 creeks, some HUGE mud holes, and a great hill at the end to try climbing!_"

I'm not sure if I can make it but I thought I would put it out for anyone that wants to join them

Eric,
we didnt hit any trails in pismo. We just romped around the dunes. It was cold during the nights but well worth it.

heres a short clip of me then brad up the hill

and the taco bowl

too bad the 4runner slowed it down so i had to shoot for higher ground.

vids from Hytenor (chris) from TTORA.

Are you just going to be there on the 29th? I'll be in the area on the weekend, not sure if I'm going to be off roading though. Checkout my website for directions to big falls, near lake lopez. I would recommend this trail for you.

There are trails at pozo, but the last time I was there somebody graded the best one smooth. Other than that one, the trails are either too easy or too hard for a stock 4x4.

Anyway, you can easily entertain yourself at pismo for at least a full day, if not more.

well my gf and I were going to go there for her b-day, but she would rather go to santa-cruz

she wants a place where out 7 month old g-dane/pit bull puppy can get out and run around, but she doesn't want to go to the dunes

whatever, it's her b-day

You know, they have these things called dog parks...

The central coast is pretty nice for couples. You can walk around (shop) downtown SLO, Morro Bay, Pismo and even take your dog. I'm not sure if it's legal, but my old roommates take their dogs to morro bay beach and let them run around. The area is also known for the wine country.

Plus, tell her she can drive at the dunes, she'll have a blast.

Edit: wait, I just re-read your post, greatdane/pitbull?! How the heck did that happen!

Brad & Milton,
I'm going to be heading up that way in a week or 2. I'll post before to see if you guys want to hook up out at the dunes or some trails.

Thanks for keeping me in the loop with all the events Brad!
Did you get your Taco in that calendar? The guy who took the airborne shots says it's ok with him for you to use or he has higher res. images if you want them.

James,
Yeah, my truck made the calandar! You can call me "Mr. December" now! LOL Let me know when you make it up this way, if I'm free I'd love to go hit some trails!

Milton,
There are a few of us locals that want to go hit Big Falls or Pozo sometime soon. I just got a new chop saw and will be starting to build some sliders for my truck soon, so I want to test them when they're finished! Weeeee!

CO2 tank for Pismo? Is that in case you throw a bead? I have been blessed enough to never throw a bead so far (of course, now I will since I said that!). If it's just to air up, why not just air up at the Chevron on Grand Ave?
Made a new bed bar last night that I'll probably give to my buddy, but sliders will be a work in progress over the next few weeks, or asl long as I can keep my cousin's welder here at my house!
