Aftermarket Intake Manifold?

I'm curious who makes an aftermarket intake manifold for a 91 pickup with a 22re. I'm looking for something to give the truck a little more kick. I figure it would compliment the intake, cam, and header quite well.

There's no particular reason for a new manifold for the 22re. Stock upper plenum gives some room for the intake to disperse to the runners and the runners are generally large and long enough to give good torque without sacrificing bottom end power.

The only real mod I know of is changing the length of the EGR tube in the intake, but even that's not been shown to help much.

I suppose gasket matching the upper to the lower plenum and then matching the lower plenum to the head could add 2-3 hp, but is it worth the cost?

For the money involved with doing that, using an aftermarket fuel management system and breaking the batch fire into sequential fire injection would cost nearly the same and net maybe another few hp on top.

Realistically, you have to consider if it would have made a significant difference, Toyota would've done it sometime between 84 and 95, right? Instead, they brought out a new R series engine, the RZ.
