metal to metal sound

I've got a metal to metal sound coming from the lower part of my engine or transmission. it doesn’t matter if i have it in park or drive. as long as the engine is running it makes the sound. it just started after i left the gym. i only have 114000 on the truck and i had the timing belt replaced at 90,000 along with all belts and water pump. the transmission is shifting fine and doesn’t seem to have any performance issues. just makes the awful sound while running. Definitely sounds like it's more evident under the truck than standing in front of the engine bay. anyone got an idea? thanks so much for your inputs
