Anybody know what the cheapest replacement exhaust system (downpipe and all) for a 1991 Pickup/22RE would be? The exhaust on my truck has been band-aided a couple of times, but this time the weld on the O2 sensor bung gave out. I've had it and am planning on having it all replaced when I take the truck in for a major service post tax refund. Most of the systems I've seen online are either from the cat back (cat looks pretty scary and should be replaced too) or are off-road only (no cat)-unfortunately I live in New Jersey and they don't mess around-they do visual inspection and emissions testing here. Anybody have a good cheap system they can recommend? There is a local exhaust shop here that will bend up and weld just about anything but that usually means big $$$.

 

why not do a little calling to local wrecking yards and see what they want for a manifold or down pipe, might even do a look on ebay might be able to find one in good condition that u can get cheap.
