73 20R go into 83?

73 20R go into 83?
I located a guy with 3 toyota hilux 2wd pick-ups. One has a rebuilt 20R. He will sell them for $500 total just to get rid of them. I just bought a 1988 Toyota Corrolla off him for a daily driver lol. Good box on the one with the 20R. I'm wondering if the 1973 20R 2wd 4spd will bolt up to the 5 speed in my 1983 Toyota Pickup 4x4.

It will bolt up. You will need the intake and carb. If you have a mechanical fuel pump and you likely do. Check the head on the 20R to make sure the spot was milled for the pump or you might need to spend the money for an electric pump. Use the dizzy off of your original motor.
