Where do I mount this thing of wires?

I can't remember where this thing was mounted prior to taking my engine apart. Since its just hanging there It's pretty some added stress onto my already getting brittle wires (Another issue all in its own. Haha... Why are my wires so brittle?)

Can anyone give me an idea of how this thing is suppose to be mounted?

Thanks a lot.

From: Columbia River Gorge, Oregon...east side
Shape wise, it looks the same as the bright spot under the bolt on the left side of the green circle. Is there enough slack that this is the location?

Heat makes wire brittle.

it mounts right there where the empty bolt hole is. there is a tab that slides up and down that wire pack. pull it up and put a bolt in it

I'm pretty sure it don't mount there. Besides the fact that there isn't enough slack to get it to mount there, something else actually bolts there that I removed just so I could take these pictures.

If you don't have enough slack to get it there then you have that routed wrong. One of the branches should go in between the upper and lower intake. here is a pic of mine. I don't have it bolted because I'm just lazy, and i think i misplaced its bolt. The tab is right there on that lighter spot in your pic. somethign is up with your routing of the wires. it should get there easy.

If it is brittle from heat put some heat sheathing on it to protect it.
