Ivan Stewart 16x7 TRD Wheels

I purchased my 01 Tacoma with only 10k miles in Oct. 11. It had a new frame, brake lines, shocks....etc because of the recall. The stealership also put new rims on it I guess from the base rims probably rusting. Even though the truck has low miles I believe the previous owner parked it in their yard all these years.

The wheels the dealer put on were brand new Ivan Stewart TRD wheels. These looked really good new. We have had a very mild winter in the Pittsburgh area with the roads being salted only a couple of times. I washed my truck yesterday and the lip on both front rims is completely pitted. The rear rims are starting to pit.

I would recommend you run as fast as possible from these rims if you live in an area where they salt the roads.

your wheels look pretty good, how fast?
my Ivans has a correction, they are 4.5in backspacing and yes the stock sport are 5.5. There is someone on here running these and have no rubbing issues with the 285's

Aw that's not pretty. Have you tried bringing them back to life with a polish? Some of the clear lips have a clear coat on top of them so be careful as you may be polishing just the clear coat (if you decide to try it)

I thought about trying to rub/stand them out, but at this point I think they will become my winter rims. I have my eye on something nicer for summer.
