1983 hilux 3rz swap engine mount issues

hey guys, well i am at a stand still right now. i have a 1983 toyota pickup, and i am running a 2.7 tacoma motor, just finished the swap a few months ago. so here the problem under a load, like in reverse or pulling out in first i get alot of bounce from the motor moving up and down. also when i hit soft sand or snow also moves alot. first thought was broken motor mount, well i pulled them out tonight and not even stress cracks in them i can notice. reinstalled and did brake torque on teh motor in reverse and the pass side of the motor pulls up and stretchs the mount a good bit. im stumped. i am running chilkats motor mount conversion plates. and i also just installed trail-gear tcase poly mount to help limit flex but didnt work. so i didnt have to run full poly motor mounts i had them in my 22r and im not going back there so terrible. even with this tcase im prob pullin that thing out tom, any help thanks

What mounts are you using? The Chilkat adapter mounts? Or factorys that are re-welded to the frame?

On a side, off-topic note, what did you do for fuel pump/tank?
I have an 84 carb that I am prepping to do the 3RZ swap in. Any info would be greatly appreciated...

Chilkats adapter plates with factory insolators(motor mounts)
As for my fuel tank I have a 98 runner tank and am using all the runner tank pump an just ran lines to. It's mounted on the back of frame frame rail to rail sideways I'll post pics tonight.

I am stumped as to why you are getting that much movement from the rubber mounts. I know rubber stretches, but I didnt think it would be very much at all. Could you temporarily rig up some sort of limiter to keep the engine from torquing up? A ratchet strap thats cut down, a short section of chain, anything for testing purposes. And is it safe to say that this is in normal 2WD high? No trans case multiplications going on? Double/triple 4Lo, etc...

And some pics would be great! As much info as you can give about your experience would be much appreciated. I already have the motor situation ready for pick up, I am just trying to research ALL that I can, because this needs to happen in a quick timeframe when I start it... I may just go with the 22RE tank/pump, but I am exploring all options...
