302 in a '92 4runnner 4WD
Hey guys, I know it's been years since I've been on here, but I'm going to start back up with this now. I've already looked and can't find anything that answers my questions, so I am posting this.
I have a stock '92 4runner (for now) and was going to swap out the 3.slo for the Ford 302. Theres a company that will sell me their complete conversion kit, inc the wiring harness, mustang computer, etc. plus the 302 and a manual t5 tranny for 2500.. tyhe 302 by itself is 700.
BUT I think NW Offroad sells a conversion kit to bolt the 302 onto my stock manual transmission, I'm going to call them to make sure..
My problem is that, if I go with the t5 transmission, does anyone know how exactly I'll be bolting the t-case up, and also, what ways I can hook up my driveshaft to it, or if I have to get a custom one, etc. ?
Opinions?
