Question SHould i buy this 81 toyota.

So today i went and looked at my first toyota. It was a 1981 toyota 4x4. The motor is blown and when i was messing around with the transmission. i could only find 2 gears. it felt like it would only shift into 3rd and 4th? The guy wants 700 for it and is pretty firm on the price. is it worth buying?its got alittle rust but nothing for a vermont truck. sorry about the bad picture.

THe guy said that it was the timming chain or the head gasket. But he wasnt sure. He got the truck from a guy up the road from him. Its orginaly from Utah.

If I had the money, I'd be all over that.

if you can get that truck for 700, and that motor and transmission for 250, you better snatch it up quick. A yota for under a 1000!!!!!

The bodys decent. Has the orginal bed no holes in it. one front fender is going. the other is pretty solid. doors are good. floars are good. Frames doesnt have any rot. Tailgate has a little rust.
