1990 toyota pickup tj coil zuk mod

Heres another zuk mod for all of us sitting on our factory overloads. I opted to use the tj wrangler front coils because there is no cutting or welding needed. Im a certified welder but I think the tj mod is cheaper, and quicker to install. Before install the zuk mod I was sitting on my overloads completely and rubbed on my ned 33s if I even attempted to flex. I cut my TJ coils down to 13 inches, and installed the smaller end on the bottom of leaf on the rubber bumpstop. My measurements show I gained 3-3.5 inches and the ride is so much nicer now. There is a little bit of noise from the coils when I first took off directly after I installed the coils but now there is no sound except every once in a while when I flex and get full stuff. With the truck at full droop the springs dont move a single bit, its a nice snug fit.
The only tools I used on this project was spring compressor, sizzor jack, jack stands, regular jack, and rachet and socket to fit spring compressor. I set the truck on jack stands on the frame then stuck the sissor jack in between the frame and leaf spring till i could get the compressed tj coil on both bump stops then did everything in reverse. On to the pics.

Before zuk mod:

After zuk mod with a couple poser flex shots, I can fully stuff my 33x12.50s now.

Its not a high as it is in this pic the coils have settled a little and the truck wasnt on flat ground here.

POSER FLEX LOL small ditch in the front yard
you can see the coils a little bit in this picture. The truck sits a little high in the rear now compared to the front but Ill just buy some ball joint spacers to even everything out.

Nice! Good looking truck! Love the exhaust outlet. I had those same taillights on my '93 single cab
