Dana 300?

I'm about to drop a 5.3l L33 Aluminum gen III motor in my yota as I'm sick of fiddling with the turbo setup. I should be able to get better fuel economy as I'm swapping 4.8l components in and it should weigh close to the same (the l33 dressed weighs about 430 and that 22rte has nothing light about it)

My problem though is that the overall length if I use a yota tcase will be a little longer than stock. I also am not a big fan of that tcase. I was considering going to a d300 as they are very common around here and quite cheap. Does anyone know what would be needed to get it to mate to the drive shafts? I'm not sure what stock ujoint sizesare on either. It should also shorten the driveline back to where it should be.
