I just bought a 2000 4Runner SR5 with 203,000 miles. I need to find where the "box" is located for a key FOB that I am getting for it. A stcker on the front passenger says VIP in red Toyota Alarm etc..

I have the actual sticker price from the 4Runner and it mentions the RS3200 Plus Alarm System - $279.

I have checked under the seats and dash by steering wheel.

Does anyone how big this device is and where I can find it?

One more question: Timing belt was changerd at 78,000 miles. Shouldit and the water pump be changed? I have heard Yes's and No's.

should be under the drivers seat... and if its really only had one t belt since then id get everything replaced

 

You always change (err should always change) the water pump with the timing belt even if the water pump is still working. It is a PITA to get to if you aren't doing the timing belt. It's just one of those things, might as well do it now that it's easily accessible.
