They are rare, but it depends on if it is something you'd want. Personally I'd jump all over it.

A rare piece of junk is just that unless you go see it in person.

Hey, just found this thread, don't know how I missed it, but picking that beast up in the AM. Too much excitement. Went and looked at it a couple of weeks ago, cranked it up, heard it run like the 22R champ that it is and was sold. Had to sell the bike to get it, but my friends and family are happy to see me back on four wheels... I'm just happy to have heat and doors in the winter! Now to get those four wheels into DD shape. Call me crazy.

Yep. It now resides on my street. Made the drive home like a boss. Needs some TLC in a few spots, but nothing major. So far it's just got a wonky idle issue on first start, needs wipers, a new grille, left blinkers etc... The little stuff!

Ha. Patience is a virtue. I had to work all day which was brutal-I just want some alone time with the truck ha... Won't fit in the garage- downfalls of urban living with a rig. And it's raining. Tomorrow?

I know, I know... pics or it didn't happen. Sorry guys, been mad slammed busy with school, work and crew. Been a hell of a first week back. But I promise to get some pics up as soon as I have a few minutes and a camera. I only have my phone, so no guarantees on the quality but I'll do what I can.

As far as plans, really all I plan to do is clean it up a bit- it's a little rough around the edges, get this ridiculous electrical gremlin that popped up over the last 24 hours and basically make it my all around DD/go anywhere rig. Something reliable that I can take anywhere. I'll get pics up tomorrow. I promise! Got some work to do on it, so I'll snap some and get a build thread going (no class til 4! and it's my day off! But I still have crew @ 3:30AM ha...), just so I have somewhere to dump pics and thoughts and hopefully get some feedback!

Until tomorrow fellas...

Cool.
There was a guy that had one for sale around Portland a year or so ago that could barely give his Trailblazer away..

Pics... cause it happened.

Hey guys,

I know these are a bit overdue, been a crazy couple weeks with everything starting back up for school and what not. Anyways here are a few pictures of this newly beloved pile. This is the day I got to sit down and clean everything out. All pictures are pre-cleaning. It's a little rough around the edges on the interior (not a fan of the camo door cards, etc), but the body and frame are in great condition. The only real drawback to the body so far is the back window is not original and is a (poorly) cut and placed piece of plexiglass. This is on the list of things to be remedied, as it leaks when it rains. But I'll save the nitty gritty stuff for the build thread.

The Mossy Oak window tints are leaving, but here she is in all of her 30 year old glory.

What I sold the bike for:

Where I drove to get wipers, Rain-X, air freshener, etc day one, drive one.

And cleaning day pics.

Hold on to those door panels..though fugly they look to be in awesome shape..you could probably either use some vinyl spray on them or sell them.
1st Gen door panels are getting harder and harder to find..

The back seat is in great shape, one of the best trailblazer seats I have seen...
