I'm trying to replace the bulb on my shifter console but how do I take it apart? Anyone know what kind of bulb it uses? I tried searching with no luck! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

With some searching, its a 74 bulb....in case anyone needs for it future reference.

 

take the screws out of the sides , and the plastic should come apart , thats what I did ,to clean the rear window switch. thanx for the bulb # I had a hard time figuring it out too.

 

Hey sorry to dig up this old pic but I was wondering what year is this truck and do you have ADD on this truck? I will be making a 1uz conversion into a 1995 runner and decided to not go with the hydraulic transfer case. I still want to keep the ADD. I see your truck has a automatic tranny but looks like a manual shifter for your transfer case. The bottom line is can i have the same setup as your center console and still keep my ADD? thanks.

 

Very late response, but saw the thread. Thanks for the bulb #. Where is it actually located? I've taken both the center console and gear shift console apart and cannot find the bulb anywhere. Where is it located, and how to get to it?
