Hi All:

I want to install an LED center brake light on my 1990 Toyota pickup; this model did not have one from the factory.

If there is a model thin enough to fit between the rear window and the top of the roof, and even better has clear LED's for cargo light, that's what I want. I saw a unit mounted on top of the roof of a Toyota I passed, but I'd rather have one on the back, not on top.

Dealer does not list an upgrade kit...

Anyone who has done this please list the manufacturer of the unit you used. There are too many models out there- I already spent an hour with no sure choice.

honestly, cutting into sheetmetal for a light would be a pita.

i built a headache rack for my lil bros cummins, 4 led brake/turn (like 20 leds per each light) and two round halogens (picture off-road lights) for reverse. im pretty sure its visible from space! he seriously got all six lights from wal-mart. that would probly be your best bet

 

Thought about the headache rack, will do that if nothing cab-mounted is easily do-able. Thanks very much!!
