body lift question

body lift question

okay Ive always had suspension lift, never done body lift but got one in a trade and was wondering if I have to use a steering extender or shifters extenders? the truck is a 90 single cab manuel trans 4x4.

Depends on how big the body lift is.

The steering link on the page above will tell you how much body lift you can get away with before a steering extension is required. Shifter extensions are only required on automatics if using more than 1" of body lift.

Great link-I might just go with a 1" 4 Crawler lift to minimize the amount of hacking I might otherwise have to do for 33s or 35s.
