i have a 1992 fj80 for parts,, JUNK OR NOT?
just took in this 1992 fj80 172k straight6 auto in and don't have a clue about these fj80's

it has been hit alittle on the driver side and has not run since last year.
just wanting to see if there was any demand for these parts??
any info on this big anchor would be appreciated

80 series is basically the newest solid axle, overbuilt Toyota you can buy, thus making it great for wheeling with 8 passengers and A/C
they have a reputation for reliability and durability. Downfall to them is they are heavy pigs like all landcruisers and it's a bit underpowered for it's size. I'd think if it's still able to get running without too much $ and nothing is seriously damaged from the accident it would be a perfect candidate for a wheeling rig. if you're parting it out there is still a demand for parts, but IMO you should wheel the piss out of it...or chop it into a convertible or a "ute" (truck). Then again I have no idea what's wrong with this particular rig or what your plans are for it. For good help with cruisers, check out ih8mud.com
