I have an 86 pickup 22re 2wd and my alternator died today. I've been looking for a high amp alt so I can reinstall my HID's ( since the lack of current caused my first set to die) and install my mmats p3.0 10" that's been siting in my room for 3 months. I was looking onhttp://www.mralternator.com/alternators/toyota.html and found a 150 amp alternator but it's only listed for the 89-91. As far as I kno the 86 and 89 both use the 280 style plug. Does anyone know if this alt would be compatible with my truck. Any help greatly appreciated!
