80' yota Truck: No tail lights, where to start...

Hi all, I have a 1980 Yota RV and the tail lights arent working, just looking for a general direction to get started in, the rear half (RV end) is connected at a clip at the end of the cab. There is no power at that clip so it is in the cab.

Thanks in advance!

Ty

Wink

Best place to start is the fuse.

See if you have battery voltage to that point

Then you will have a starting place . then just work from plug to plug

Do the dash lights and front marker lights work??

Corroded plug where the rear harness plugs in .. Have you done anything that may have cut the harness ??

Bad ground Bad bulbs .

Have you tested that the lights work and have figured out it is a wiring fault

Does this thing have Toyota lights or some after market lights from the body builder??

like wyoming said, fues etc.
if the RV is like the regular trucks the wiring harness is gonna run the down the right side frame rail-check connections there if you don't find anything with the fuses/grounds.
