4runner running alittle warm

Hi all thank u to everyone who helped me on my last post so I have a 95 4runner 3.0 man tran. Yesterday mY truck overheated found I had a loose upper radiator hose. So all the way home my truck would get a little warm not like overheating warm but warmer then what it should run at then it would.come back down some then back up the radiator is completely full has new water pump like 3 month old do u have any ideas

You may want to start by replacing your Thermostat.

Very cheap part.

They can get tired and stop opening up all of the way when your engine is at operating temp.

I checked the thermometer it opened at 180f degrees do u have any other ideas drained the coolant no oil and oil styck is clean oil

Yes, it will constantly turn when the engine is running, but is it fully engaging when engine is running warmer than you would like?

One way to test >>>>>> BE CAREFUL <<<<<<<< Roll up a nice thick stack of newspaper and when the engine is running and up to full temp, see if you can easily stop the fan from spinning with the rolled up newspaper. If you cannot stop the fan blades, fan clutch is likely ok. If the blades stop easily, bad fan clutch.

Also, when the engine is cold give the fan blades a spin by hand....the fan should spin with noticeable resistance.
