I'll go ahead and treat it like a full build then.

Good luck - looking forward to the pics!

I did manage to get the block clean and a little paint on it last night. Plans for tonight are to get the bores honed and then clean all gasket surfaces. maybe get the rotating assy back in there.

block has been cleaned and painted. It is painted gray. I dont like black as if it ever has a leak it is hard to see on black

guess maybe i misunderstood. I did prep work after i painted that way any overspray got cleaned. might be backwards but the way i have always done it right or wrong. lol

actually block was cleaned before paint just didnt clean head surface or hone the cylinders till i was ready to install the rotating assy

Thanks John. Interior looked like ten hogs that all smoked lived in it for ten years. Gutted the truck and cleaned piece by piece. redyed it all. found a decent seat and carpet from a wrecked truck and it is all good. lots of time and about 60 bucks.

Frame and body are in great shape with no rust through. One spot of surface rust about quarter size on the gate. Truck Needs paint but i dont know how to paint so it will be last if i ever do it.

I have been watching your build thread also. Your truck is coming along nicely also! Cheers!
