1980 toyota chev axle swap

i am about to start on a winter project, while i got my 4 runner out wheelin this winter i am going to start a axle swap in my 1980 toy pickup. i have a set of chevy 1/2 ton axles out of a k5 blazer that i was gonna use in my old jeep. but that has recently changed due to the fact i got this new pickup. i know tg sells pinon yokes to where you can still use yota drivelines but they are for d60's, i would like to use my drivelines still and want to get all my parts before i start.. if you know of any companys that sell such thing any knowledge of that would be great.. also any other imput on this subject would be greatly appriciated... questions or whatever maybe keep me on my toes and make sure i have all my ducks in a row before i start...

noone else makes shackles like those above that I posted, I guess I don't know what you mean by "z" shackles. Pretty sure those k5's had a dana 44 ? front and cannot remember what the rears were.

if the front is a dana 44 http://www.inchwormgear.com/store/pr...roducts_id=979

If I had to guess and it's only a guess, he's running a chevy 63" rear leaf spring with a doubled up shackle instead of having to move the rear shackle hanger back.

That's just a dual shackle set up... chevy shackle mounted to a toyota shackle. Supposedly flexes great but very unstable, likes to unload going downhill.

yup and nice job on the wall, but you see him lift that tire? Shocks are too short (I don't see a limit strap). I know you don't wanna come all the way down and flip flop that kind of setup but .......

Also I heard the same problem about unloading with the teraflex shackles. too.

i guess it all depends huh i am basically just gonna build another snow wheeler, but with this pickup keep my 4 runner nice and not beat up and have this for goin with a buddy.. i got some springs for it but just dont remember the length of them and i took a cuple leafs out they flexed good on my jeep when they were on there maybe i should just stay with leafs and a normal shakle, i just wanna make something diffrent that no one else has in my town and have it function well... any other suggestions?
