OC, I know you prob won't have an answer, but after reading the thread that you moved this discussion from, I've got a bit confused with the contradicting information from the two sellers.. Apparently the "gotpropane" kits are specially designed for the 22R according to their spokesperson, and the others, such as the eBay ones were originally designed for forklifts, but will work on a 22RE?

I don't understand the major differences, if a kit works, it works, right? Regardless of the original intentions of the product? In fact it seems like a kit originally designed for the use of industrial equipment would be better quality.
Do the forklift ones not fit on a 22R? Do they not work as well?

I'm just not understanding the difference between the two..

i think that the ebay forklift kits were cutting into gotpropanes business and it was kind of turning into a pissing match.. ..The ebay kits are a lot cheaper than got propanes..I would do a lot of correspondance with who ever you choose to go with. If the ebay guy wants your business, seems to me he would take the time to answer any questions you may have.

Personally I would love to go dual fuel on my '81, carb for DD and propane for when the carb won't work at an angle..
