I over tightened rear brake ajuster

While attempting to adjust the rear brakes on my 00 T4R I some how over tightened the left rear to the point the it has to much drag... can some one tell me how to take some of the pressure off... it seams like on the little spur wheel i can only get to rotate to tighten only.. thank you in advance

You use another tool of your choice to hold the arm away from the adjuster and of course turn in the opposite direction .

It is a trick to get the feel for adjusting brakes it will come with time.

Good luck

Pull the spring away with a small screwdriver, then adjust it away. I usually adjust it until the wheel won't spin and back it off one.

Like they said.
I'm having the same problem, sucking up the will to go back and finish it....Man, don't you HATE those adjusters?? You can't even SEE them to work on 'em! Get the FSM online, have a look at their construction....you need to push the little forked arm on the inside towards the drum (from the underside of the vehicle), while you turn the star wheel the opposite way from 'that which makes it click'. Not a very good description... Total PITA.
