newer engine installed... flexplate too far from TC
So i installed a tundra 3.4 into my 4runner 3.4.
all 6 bolts are in and snugged.
NOW, my flex plate is too far away from torque conv to install six bolts.
does the torque conv have front to back play?
any recommendations?

Any update? Success? Picture? I have not had mine apart down there, but others certainly have and will chime in.

effin duh
too much funny stuff here in cali :0
****edit**** No it is not, im a noobie, as I rotated motor with beaker bar, laying under truck, the threaded 6 holes on torque converter are standing off a bit more that the body of TC. DUH.. my bad...
here is pasted info from FSM
(a) Remove the 4 bolts and rear end plate.
Torque: 18 N·m (185 kgf·cm, 13 ft·lbf)
(b) Turn the crankshaft to gain access and remove the 6 bolts
with holding the crankshaft pulley set bolt by a wrench.
Torque: 41 N·m (420 kgf·cm, 30 ft·lbf)
