my truck its an 80 toyota pickup with the 20r and just had a little fit today and while it was running the charge light flickered and then smoke from it filled the gage cluster so in reaction i killed the truck and now i try to start it and the starter is cranking the motor but it wont fire up also the plugs now are not getting any spark please send me ideas this is my daily thank you

 

Not sure about the smoke...that's scary. If it wasn't for the smoke, I'd say to check the usual suspects: ignition coil, ignition module, or possibly distributer. But of course check your fuses too. Obviously something fried...So even if you get it running, I'd check what's melted.
