Loss of powersteering at idle after highway speeds.

Recently i replaced my leaky old powersteering pump with a rebuilt one. Everything went fine and the truck works great now and the leaks are gone, but...

After any short highway run when i come off the freeway and stop at the redlight i will have no power steering. I have to rev the engine to get the steering back. It will do this for a few minutes after i get off the highway every time now and i have no idea what would cause this.

Any ideas?

Belt loose? Low or wrong type of fluid?

^^^I second that.
Obviously it's possible that you got a bad pump but I'd bet it's the belt.
