22re valve cover gasket

Ive got a leak at the rear of my valve cover gasket. I have a new gasket set from fel-pro. My question is the new feel-pro gasket set has 2 half moon gaskets, one is marked 38 & one is marked 41. 38 has thinner rubber than the other around the sealing edges, are they different for the front and back, if so which one goes where. Thanks

wow, I haven't heard of that. Just got a Felpro set a few weeks back...didn't look closely at them. I popped whichever one in each slot. Have had no leaking whatsoever - but that doesn't mean I didn't just get lucky! Maybe a guru's got an answer that will settle it.....?
Man, I'd call FelPro tomorrow morning if you don't hear on this forum...sounds weird to me!
My .02....
