So I got a 1979 Pick Up/Hilux a few months ago with a blown 22r Swap, and an aftermarket, not sure what brand, intake mani, and a weber 32/36 carb on it.
Since the motor was blown I got a 20r to put in it (I didn't know that the 22r was in it until I pulled it out ), now since the intakes where different, I had to leave the stock 20r Intake, and the weber adapter plates that I had cracked when I tried to put them on the 20r Intake. So now that I got the motor all put in, it ran alright, and then decided to die like 10 times on my ride home (about 3 miles). and now I cant figure out what the hell the problem is.
I've been told that its vacuum but I cant figure out where the hell the lines connect to. I have a chiltons, but the vacuum diagrams arent really helping, because a lot of the vacuum stuff has been taken off or plugged on this motor. Any help I could get from you guys would be great.
