1980 Toyota Pickup Heat stove...

My heat stove is pretty tore up it is pretty cracked where the exhaust manifold bolts on and i dont know if it is effecting the exhaust but there was carbon buildup in the stove ... i mean it bolts on and looks legit but i got new gaskets for it but dont want to put it on the old manifold if it isnt working right...
dont know much about it other then what i read in other threads.

iv been trying to find a new one online with not alot of luck...

can anyone give me a push in the right direction? thx ill take pics tonight

Edit - Im in california so it is required to have the heat stove on it right? at least to get it smogged will it need to be replaced if it is leaking?

it's the little ceramic/foil tube from the outer shell on the heat shield of the exhaust manifold - to the access tube on the nose of the factory air cleaner

but I believe he is talking about the EGR pipe/piping

since your in California you will need to put it on when you go to smog your truck, unless you live in a county that doesn't require smog, i would check that first.

the chart shows what counties require smog
http://dmv.ca.gov/vr/smogfaq.htm#BM2539
and Redding is not one of them
have you ever had to smog your truck before?
