1984 Truck - $500

http://burlington.craigslist.org/cto/2565478292.html

I responded to the add and it turns out a girl from work is selling it. It apparently hasn't run for a number of years so I assume the carbs need a good clean, it needs a new battery and gas at the very least.

It's pretty rare to see these rigs up here. Shes going to give me pics, but apparently it has 40,000 original miles and the original bed with minimal rust.

Not sure if the GF is going to be crazy about another lawn ornament.... what do you guys think? I could probably hide it out in my woods until I'm ready to work on it so I bet she can deal.

I'll post up some pics once I get them or if I go look at it.

As long as the frame is in good shape I would buy that in a heartbeat. No pics even needed.

I'd grab it while you can, that won't last long.

That would take a lot of the motivation out myself, but still might be worth it for a dd. I would just have a hard time turning down a truck with 40k for $500, it's probably good that I'm not close enough to even think about buying it.

I'm impressed that she can distinguish raccoon urine from among all the other options...
