how do you like the 3k's compared to the 6's?

we have the 6k's on the vw golf and love em

4 on the roof and I had 2 on my brush guard but I will be putting 2 better Hellas on my ARB this weekend.

I like the yellow more than the white. ( its not a bright yellow, its more like a gold ) they're both the same brightness... the white lit up reflectors alot more, but still nonetheless, they're illegal and ridiculously bright

got this set for $10....it was an impusle buy. I do want to ditch them for a decent set of kc's, but they work for now

put them here (didnt really like them being the furthermost thing on my truck, but i'm considering them temporary, so its all good)

Ebay projectors, hi/lo with 35w 5k Ebay HID's and halos for main headlights. Hella Micro DE's with 35w 3k Ebay HID's for fogs and Hella 500's Black Magic with 55w halogen bulbs.
(ya, truck is dirty!) No output pics but its plenty bright.

i think you'll be one of the first to mount them there. i know a lot of people are wanting to do that, yet no one has done it because there's no precedent. i would do it, except gas mileage is kinda important to me right now. i'm sure it's as easy as adding a "z" bracket under the hood
