1998 4Runner 3.4L alternator swap

I recently acquired a 98 4Runner 3.4L auto without an alternator. I will be making this into an off road rig over the winter and I will be running numerous lights, communication/navigation equipment, stereo system, winch, etc.... so I want to install a high output alternator. I have researched this and other forums and have some good ideas, but nothing has me convinced in which direction to go. I don't have good fab skills (they are slowly improving) or a lot of electrical knowledge, so I am looking for something that will not require a lot of modification. I found some Denso high out put alternators from Northwest Off Road but from my research here and other places, they seem to be very pricey and have terrible custom service. I have not been able to find the "denso" high output alternators anywhere else. Does anyone know if the ones from NWOR work well and can I get them elsewhere (from denso or toyota directly)? What do you guys recommend for a reliable high output alternator (mostly off road use)?

I have been researching this for the last 3 weeks and not been able to make up my mind. I need to get one ordered within the next week, so any help in swaying my decision would be appreciated.

Thank you.

You are probably going to want to figure out what the draw is before throwing a ton of money into parts.
