Repairs I made last weekend...

Patched a hole in the passenger side cab; pretty hairy looking repair :

Put in a new distributor & ignition wires:

By the way, I highly recommend OEM Denso over NGK as you get ALL the hardware with the Denso, not so with the NGK (previous install).

Guess what happens when you install the distributor without checking you're at TDC on the #1 piston? KA_BLAM! backfire....scared the beejeezus out of me~

Fixed a year-old exhaust manifold leak. 2 of the 3 bolts on the driver side crossover pipe were backed out 1/2"!

Took the boat out for a spin Saturday~

Ended the weekend with the Joan Jett/ZZ Top concert in Solomons, MD~

All in all, had a pretty good weekend!

Well, it's a 2004, so it's 7 years old now. Probably worth between $5k & $6k. New was around $17k. It's a jet drive (just like a jetski) with 150 hp, but it weighs about 1500 lbs wet. It'll do about 50-55 mph flat out.

Oh yeah...I forgot to add that I installed a 2 gauge copper wire from the alternator (170 amp) to the battery direct. Will be installing a 150 amp circuit breaker for the alternator this weekend. made a lot of difference on my "thump" (1000-watt, REAL watts) amp.
