Sometimes it'll idle and warm up great and fantastic run all day.

every morning it starts n warms up

but then later on in the day after driving it i start it. wont stay idled.

i replaced the silver plug box underneath the dash by the fuses. (forgot name)

and it fixed it for awhile.

i turned up idle and it stays idling but really high.

any ideas??

 

im curious on this answer aswell....my 82 22r is doing a similar thing.

Check the fuel cut solenoid on the carb. That's what my intermittent stalling issue was. I had to run the ground straight to the battery, and haven't stalled since.

But there are probably a few things that could be causing your stalling.
