Will the stock 265/70/16 BFG tires from my Tacoma fit a Hilander?

I want to sell my tires and I found a wanted ad from a woman with a Hilander who is looking for 225/70/16 and wants to know if these will fit. Thanks in advance.

 

If we are talking about a Highlander and not the 4Runner with the Highlander package then they won't fit unless she has a lift.

go here and enter in the tire sizes. This will show you the differences between the two sizes.

 

Also if she is talking about the Highlander and not the 4Runner with the Highlander packege, then the lugs will not be right. The 4Runner is 6 lug and the Highlander is only 5 lug.

 

5 or 6 won't matter. He is selling just the tires. It will probably fits but expect rubbing in the front.

 

Thanks for the replies. She passed on my tires though her husband (with a 4Runner) would pick them up. Alas he just got some new tires, too, so... close but no banana for me.
