Supercharger questions

Ok, Im new to this site and to toyotas. I have a 04 double cab 4x4 trd tacoma thats supercharged. I kinda found answers I was lookin for but not exact.

First is about the oil in the supercharger. Its a black urd s/c withc im pretty sure is a 2nd gen s/c. Everything I seem to find is about the 1st gen s/c but the question I have is how often do you have to change the oil in this s/c or does it run off of motor oil. I have been told both. The toyota dealership cant even answer this question for me and the guy I bought the truck from told me it ran off the motor oil. Another guy at the parts house told me it ran off its own oil. The truck has 70k miles on it and where do I get the oil from cause the toyota tech here in town told me I would have to bring it in and they had to check it out and see how it worked. Im not to fond of other ppl workinon my stuff and they told me I couldnt be in there why they done it. so thats out the question. So, Does it run off motor oil or have its own and if so where to get it?

I have alot of questions about this truck so try and bear with me on it.

Call these guys. They'll be able to not only tell you which oil your SC uses, but they'll also be able to sell you the oil.

It uses it's own oil, there is a port somewhere in the nose section, most likely blocked with an allen key, that allows you to see it. Not sure if it has a drain as well. On the 1st gen you have to pull the SC to replace the oil.

If you have 70k miles on it, it is a good idea to have it rebuilt anyways. That is about the lifespan of the bearings. The above place is who can rebuild it as well. Thats what i would do personally.

Do you have any kind of fuel mods on the truck to keep it from leaning out? Stock pulley i assume? You will need to address the fuel issue and might as well toss a smaller pulley on it as well for some more power once you fix the fueling.

For fueling fixes you have 2 basic choices, Methanol injection kit (cheaper, MUCH better performance and easier), or the URD 7th injector kit.

Meth injection is better but the only catch is being able to get methanol locally. Any big city should have it. Or if you are lucky enough to have -30 or lower rated washer fluid.
