3.4 swap wont idle up when cold

I finished my swap a few weeks ago (98 runner donor into 91 runner) and had no major issues with it at all.... everything was great for the most part and it ran just like it should. on cold start it would idle up around 12 or so and slowly drop to 750 as it warmed up. A friend of mine was also doing his swap at the same time and needed a maf sensor badly so i gave him mine....no big deal he found one for me a few days later and i put it on. with the new one on it would start hard and wouldn't idle decent while cold... i cleaned that one out and saw a small amount of improvement but not much. i bought another one but this time tried it on my friends 3.4 truck to test it and it was ok... i put it on mine and it did start easier and have better power again but still does not idle up when cold. i have reset the computer and let it 're learn' but still doesn't idle up. it runs great when up to temp and ran great when i first got it running so aside from wiring in an OBD i am stumped. any input would be great!

Okay so hopefully I can get this figured out in case someone else has this same issue in the future.... I have been doing some more research and found that the IAC is a common issue for the symptoms I'm having.... I cleaned it out good but still no luck. My next thought was temp sensor and I do have a parts motor with another sensor in it. If anyone has any input feel free to chime in!
