Price of Toyota Red coolant

Is it just my local dealership or is the price of toyota coolant out of control? I just picked up 2 jugs yesterday at 32 bucks a gallon.

I'm adamant about using the red but I'm going to look for other options the next time I need it.

That's about right for the price.

I have used the green stuff with no ill effects for years. However I always do a drain and refill every 18 months or so. So I guess use what you like, just remember that antifreeze degrades after a while, so keep it fresh...

$18.46 at https://www.1sttoyotaparts.com/oempartscat.html
Shipping is 10% of total cost. I bought 4 gallons and other stuff worth $270 so shipping was $27.

Part # is 002721LLAC01. You have to type it in to search as they don't list it.

Its up to $20.21 now. They show list price as $28.03 so your dealer is a major rip off.

yeah it's expensive. The guy behind the part counter said they don't even replace serviced vehicles with red antifreeze. he said just be certain to completely flush the red stuff out if you change to green.
