rebuilt 22r wants to die when pulling out clutch and at 3krpm
Just got a 84 4x4 truck with a rebuilt 22r. when you rev the motor to about 2500 rpm it cuts out a bit and if I rev harder it'll get up there some more but when I put it it first gear and start to pull the clutch out it dies.
Does this sound like a carb adjustment? Or maybe a leaky vacume line? I really need some help with this one.

What did or didn't you change out when you rebuilt? Some people like to do new everything, some put original carbs, dist, wires, etc back on. I rebuilt an old Ford motor once, was working good, just high mileage and I had the time and money. Put it all back together with same carb, electrical, everything. In the time it sat my coil went bad. Weird things happen, but we need to know what you changed and what you left original. What was the reason for rebuilding? Stuff like that.
