Worth the swap? (Leaf springs from 87 Pickup to 88 4runner)

Hey guys, I was thinking of swapping the leafs springs from my dad's 87 4x4 ext cab pickup and swapping them into mine, which it still arches very well and consists of four mains and an overload in the pack. My questions are, is it worth the time? Do I have to worry about fitment issues from a pickup to my 4runner? Would swapping the leaf springs (From the pickup) over to my 4runner with the addition of the ZUK mod, give me the additional height that I am looking to get?

I currently have dead leaf springs (three mains and an overload) on my runner but utilizing the ZUK mod to regain the lift. I just recently installed 1 1/2 BJ Spacers and now my 4runner is a bit uneven with the front being at least an inch higher than the rear. I could relax the t-bars but at the same time I like the look and just want to fix the rear to match the front. So should I go ahead with the swap and hope that it'll give me the additional lift or will this be a complete waste of time? Thx in advance.

I'm not too sure as I know the pickup is 47 inches but not too sure about the 4runner. I was thinking of just swapping the main leafs from the pickup with the 4runner mains since their warn out. May be I should just focus on getting a set of 6 inch shackles and call it a day.

If your young and have lots of time on your hands need something to keep you busy on the weekend .

Go for it!!

I sure would not waste time putting used leaf springs in a vehicle and depending where you live just getting two sets of leaf springs out of two vehicles. We all have our own methods but most all involve Torch or zip discs

Along with replacing ubolts and all the other hardware
