I have been wanting to remove the much dated body decals from the sides of my 1994 4Runner. I was wondering if anyone has done this recently and what concerns might I consider. I know these things have been on there for coming on two decades and was worried about significant color changes (fading) under the stickers. Any input or thoughts would be appreciated.

 

Body work eraser disc. It's basically an eraser on a bit that you put in a drill.
Most auto parts have them.

The darker the paint color the worse the contrast will be on your paint.
