93 4runner dont know whats wrong
first day i got the t4r i was mudding and going through a pond about 3 feet deep for like the hundredth time and droped down in it in 4 hi and stalled out then after pulling it out and trying to start it, jump it, push start it... it finally started and shot about a 10 foot line of water out the muffler then drove to a friends house to drop him off noticed it had no oil in it and was losing more fast so i put about 2 quarts in it and drove about 6 miles and the pulled into a gas station and turned it off not wanting to drive without oil. it still runs but kind of sputters. **and it wont hold oil?** i think it is a cracked oil pan, a cracked block, or a blown head gasget. not shure yet if you have any ideas let me know!!

sounds like you screwed your rig up pretty bad. not smart. to find out what the oil leak is, pressure wash it all off (engine bay and underneath) and look for the oil buildup.
please be nicer to your yota...

ok do u see oil under the car when it sits? have u looked under to see if oil is leaking out of anything? u could of just blew the front or rear main seals or oil filter loose, but to know more of whats going on need to know where the oil is going. now if u dont see any leaks and its eating the oil then u could of done something internal to it. but let us know where u see or dont see leaking and then we can help u more.

yeah when i dropped my friend off at his house i sat in the street for probly 30 45 seconds and then went to the end of the street and turned around and there was already a puddle of oil where i was sitting waiting for him to get out so we put like 2 quarts in it and i drove about 6 7 miles then stoped at a gas station not wanting to run out of oil and blow my car up and within 20 minutes all the oil had leaked out and was under the car i couldnt see where it was leaking out because the whole engine was covered in it. and i cant really work on it cause im temporarolly live in a appartment and they dont allow you to work on your cars. so im leaving it on my trailer and driving my other car till i get a house ( in the next month or two) i didnt think about checking the oil filter ill try that and get back to you. fingers crossed !! it would make me so happy if it was something that simple
