SS1.2A & toytec Ult. pricepoint/performance
I have long looked into both of these options, as well as others. I am asking for an opinion on which one to get, taking into consideration i live in the snow belt.
I have heard that the toytec coilovers take a huge beating from winter. There is no panhard adjustability with the toytec, but price wise toytec with the light racing control arms comes in at $9 dollars cheaper than the SS1.2 (delivered).
I know both kits are great products, both coming from knowledgeable people. The 4runner will be used as an offroader, city commuter, boat hauler, and hunting rig. I want best performance and value between these two kits.
Thanks to anyone and everyone who cares to read and leave opinion and look forward to hearing new info.

the problem with this question is that for every person that says SS is the best kit, you will find someone who says the toytec lift is the best.
as far as springs and shocks go they are very similar. it took me several months of reading thread after thread to finally make my choice.
I just installed the SS kit and it's great. i chose SS over the toytec because of the little extras that came with the kit.
extended brake lines, parking brake bracket and panhard bar.
without the panhard bar my wheels were 1.5 inches off center, not a big deal to some guys but it was to me.
is the SS kit pricey? yes. but you pay for the convenience of everything you need for the lift coming in one box.
